Is AI Model Photoshoot still on the Shopify App Store?
No. When we checked on , the Shopify App Store listing for AI Model Photoshoot by Rocket Labs Inc. (apps.shopify.com/ai-model-photoshot) said: "This app is not currently available on the Shopify App Store." It shows no install button, so a merchant cannot add it to a store from the App Store today.
Other apps use similar words in their names. This page is about the Rocket Labs app.
From a flat apparel photo to an on-model shot
The job is the same: a clothing photo goes in, a photo of the garment being worn comes out. In sameface every step happens in your Shopify admin.
- Pick the product. The flat-lay or packshot on your Shopify product is the garment reference, so there is nothing to upload.
- Choose who wears it. A stock AI model, or one you create, with its face locked as the reference. Or nobody: a ghost mannequin shows tops and full outfits in a body's shape with no person in it.
- Choose the setting. A plain studio, a café, a street, a room at home, outdoors, or a scene you describe.
- Choose the shape. Square 1:1, 4:5 for feed ads or 9:16 for Reels and TikTok.
- See the price, then generate. The first 15 photos are free, then each is $0.08 USD.
- Review and publish. Compare each photo with the real garment, read what the label check says about any brand lettering, and publish the ones you choose beside your existing product photos.
The same sweater, three settings
These images come from sameface's own sample library: a synthetic sweater photo, and three photos the app made from it with its stock AI model Maya. No real person and no real store's product appear in them.

The fit, drape and sleeve length come from a flat photo, so treat them as an illustration and check them against the garment.
One model across a collection
A collection reads as a set when the same person wears every piece. In sameface a saved model keeps its face reference, and each new shoot starts from it. That is a repeatable starting point, not a guarantee: faces can shift slightly between shots, so compare them before you publish. The guide to AI model photos with a face you lock explains how it works.
From a photo to a clip
A model photo you approve can become a five- or ten-second clip for the product page or a social post, at $0.14 USD a second, or $0.28 at best quality. See the product video samples and prices.
Where sameface is different
- It works only inside Shopify, on the products in your catalog.
- It is not a virtual try-on. Shoppers do not upload a photo of themselves.
- The model is an AI-generated person, not a real model, so do not present the photos as a real person wearing the item.
- There is no plan to pick. You pay per photo, with no monthly fee, on your Shopify bill under a usage cap you approve, $100 by default. See the pricing page.
